Now, Matt.  You've made her blush!   Roll Eyes

This story is really tugging at the heartstrings!  Nice family history moment with plenty of emotion.  Naturally, Ginny dies heroically.  Smiley

Keep up the good work!  Grin

I wasn't even thinking along those lines! Cheesy

I added the second comment when I saw her second post show up! Grin

My wife is actully only 5' and one half, but she tells every one that she's 5' 1''. That 1/2 inch is a big deal to her! Smiley

Yup my Ginny would do that! And not just for Ed! Wink

If the story is tugging at your heartstrings then it's doing what I'd hoped for! Smiley Bonanza was known for some real tearjerkers, Cry then again so wasn't UFO, just in a different way. I knew the idea I had would work but it's coming together far better than I expected! Smiley I must be overlooking something. Undecided I just hope my wife likes it because this one is for her! Wink

Chapter 4

Ooooooh sad!  Ed at the graveyard!  Cry

TIme conundrums are such fun to play with!
and there's Virginia... kissing Ben...naughty! Cheesy

I enjoyed the visit to the ranch house .. nice idea.

The sketch book.. one quibble.. if it is fragile, they wouldn't want to copy it.. I don't think it would be that fragile anyway, its only 150yrs old.. its a bit of a tricky one that,,,  I do have several books of that age and they are fine.  ( a bit musty rather than fragile!)
#
I love the image of the sketch of Ed and the  children -really lovely idea and so emotional and effective... a nice link between the past and the future.
I can see the picture right now! Roll Eyes

And i like the ending... another sketchbook... what is in that I wonder.. Wink
You are going to keep us waiting aren't you!

Meanie! >Sad

I'll fix the bit about the journal, if you think it would be alright after 150 yrs. Wink

Yes there are some interesting drawings in the book, but you'll just have to wait, and so will I as I haven't gotten there yet. Smiley Right now Ginny is having a little tiff with an overprotective Adam who doesn't trust her! Wink Thinks she's a gold digger! Cheesy

I think it would be okay after that length of time.. either that or you are going to have a little trouble photocopying it..  as I said we have a lot of stuff older than that and most of it is fine.

Its too good an idea to not use the sketch book.. I like it!.. I have an auotgraph album thats really old - about 1820 ish and thats fine as well

I am so wanting to draw Ed walking away.. but I couldn't manage to do the kids as well. >Sad

If you give that a go I'd love to see it!  Smiley I picture his son Robert as looking very similar to Johnny except a tad younger and Charlene is a spitting image of mom. Long blonde hair. Remember they are walking away you don't have to do their faces! Wink

Wait till you see what I do with one of the journal entries! Cheesy

I will try it Matt, but don't hold your breath! I haven't done any 'dressed' men!  and I don't hink Ginny would have drawn Ed in the buff..well, she might have, but that wouldn't be when he was  holding his kids hands!!

Sniggering here! Shocked

That would be cool! Cool

Yeah I could see her doing him, in a drawing that is, "au natural" but certainly not in front of the children! Shocked

Rock on Louise! Cheesy

Yeah, I know it's sad, but just think about how poor Ben is going to feel when Ed does come to the rescue! Cry

Right now they're having problems with the formulas! Wink

Straker began to pace to room thinking; The same craft yet in two different points in time just like the same craft in two different universes.

“Can we use the systems to open a temporal portal between the two craft?”

Great Stuff!
Isn't time travel convenient!
Love the way you have the craft in two times at once... my brain hurts now ( it always does when I read complex stories!)
Very clever Matt!

I was struggling how I was going to solve the problem. Smiley The climax of the story is going to be a real heartstopper! (I hope!) Smiley
