I like this Deb, let me noodle a bit on a title. I might be able to come up with something. Wink

Moved the replies to where they belong - And the monsters... well that may be in the eye of the beholder.  Huh

Ooooo!  Shocked  And a good one too -- conjuring up visions of maps into the unknown.  I'm excited!  Cheesy

This idea has been rattling around my brain for years but I couldn't get a handle on it until now. Now all I have to do is get it written.  Shocked

Second section is up - Mike and his family were jealous that Tsigi was already in it. Cheesy

Quote:
“I sat in a few times,” Foster said. “Got killed every time I got into a fight. And…” here he chuckled, “who would have thought that every single barkeep and storekeeper in every single town who had a good looking daughter with a come-hither expression was a retired adventurer who hadn’t lost anything with age.”

“Maybe he was trying to tell you something,” Straker suggested. He tried to keep from laughing.

“Alec and Ginny both suggested the same thing, but I can’t imagine what they meant,” Foster said with a grin.

My favorite part so far! Cheesy And I love the parallel at the end. Very nice. Smiley

I could see Jackson being a D&D expert and I could see how the game could be used as a psychology experiment. Not too much different than modern combat simulations. Smiley

What a nice evening I'm having. I'm loving this, the idea, the interaction and dialogue between the characters. Now looking forward (aka waiting impatiently!) for the next instalment.  Cool

This is very intriguing!  I'm thoroughly enjoying all the byplay and sly comments from Jackson.  Way cool, Deb!  Cool

BTW, you might want to change 'pouring' to 'poring.'  It's an easy homonym to mistake.  Smiley

When do we get more?  :Smiley
